Two backgrounds.
Two strengths.

The Sū Edit began with two people from different backgrounds, brought together by marriage and a shared instinct for building something beautiful.

Susmita, a Bengali, spent 15 years in corporate operations — a career that taught her the value of planning, detail, organisation and getting the smallest things right.

Subodh, a Marwari entrepreneur, comes from a world of business and brings his own experience of building and making decisions, alongside his interest in the share market.

We got married in 2022. Over the years that followed, as we built our life together, an idea slowly began to take shape: why not bring our different strengths together and build something of our own?

Not simply another product brand. A house of things that are beautiful, useful, sensory and thoughtfully chosen — things that can find a place in every home.

And so, The Sū Edit began.

Sū comes from the shared beginning of our names — Susmita and Subodh.

And The Edit is our philosophy. We believe a beautiful life doesn't need more things. It needs the right things.

So we curate carefully. We create thoughtfully. We pay attention to the details — the scent, the texture, the glow, the way something makes a room feel.

We are beginning with Sū Home, our world of candles and home fragrance. In time, Sū will grow into bath, scent, gifting and more — always with the same idea at its heart: to curate the little things that make a home feel more like your own.
